This Good Shepherd image is one of the more recognizable sculptures in the National Washington Cathedral.

 When asked to create a smaller version for the Cathedral, besides capturing details as closely as possible, the votive format was added.

The candle's light casts a warm spiritual glow over the entire sculpture - tt can sit on a table top or hang on a wall.

This lovely votive can be used as a special meaningful gift.

Filled with charm, character and a dash of whimsy, each sculpture conveys the innocence of animals and the peace of nature. Handcrafted from a clay-like material, the artist uses a combination of hand-made tools & dental tools to work and shape the clay. They are hand cast in stone and hand finished with a patina wash - accentuating the detail of each design. They can be displayed indoors & outdoors year-round. Each plaque has a stainless-steel wire for hanging and most can either hang or free stand.
