Tall and elegant Vases with a glowing iridescence – each Vase reflects a rainbow of luminous colors when in sunlight and when out of sunlight – the colors deepen.

Each Vase is handmade from sand, soda, ash and limestone - using the same technique of glassblowing that’s over 2000 years old. The Artist heats molten glass to a temperature of 2300 degrees - gathered on the end of a blowpipe. After an initial bubble is created - the vases take shape and each is a one-of -kind original.

Completely functional, these Vases do fly out of the gallery – as wedding gifts, house gifts and gifts to yourself.

“I attended college at UT Knoxville. After getting my degree, I taught glass blowing at the Art Center in Little Rock from 1987 until 1992 and managed the Terra Studios in Fayetteville from 1992 until 1997. My wife and I started our own line of Art Glass in 1997 in Springdale.  I have been an Arkansas Craft guild member with both my glass and woodcarvings since 1987.”  - Ron
