While attending Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, Michael received a BFA in Art & Design with a Specialization in Glass. His return to Louisville, Kentucky led him to assist in the creation of the University of Louisville Glass Program.

Michael creates stunning compositions with hot glass – including these delightful Pen Holders. He incorporates a variety of traditional Venetian techniques in his Art Glass.
