Handcrafted from a muffler, washers, and steel balls, this adorable Great Dane Dog will bring tons of joy to his dog mom or dad.

Rick and his Dad created their first Yardbird in 1991. “Whenever possible, we use overrun, discontinued, rejected, and scrap materials. Some of the materials I use include garden tools, car parts, farm implements, ceramic cabinet knobs, bicycle parts, and mufflers. I think that Yardbirds are a great way to contribute to the good of the environment. They save rejected metal parts from ending up in a landfill and they beautify homes and yards everywhere! “ - Rick

These metal dogs naturally rust with age. If kept indoors, the Artist recommends treating them with a clear acrylic enamel spray, like Krylon CLEAR® The Magical Animal has treated each with a light coating so that the natural rust patina process evolves more slowly.
